St. Mary’s Prayer Garden (2010)

The St. Mary’s Prayer Garden is located to the left of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Religious Education Center.  Originally dedicated in 2010, the prayer garden has an ambling paved path lined with the fourteen Stations of the Cross, a statue of Jesus as He endures His Agony in the Garden, and to the side is a statue of the Holy Family.

Parishioners may purchase a memorial brick in honor of their loved ones that will be laid in-ground at the start of the path.  Also in the garden is a memorial to the unborn that was donated to the church by the Knights of Columbus.  In early December, our prayer garden is transformed into the Journey to Bethlehem.  Visitors can stroll down torch-lit paths that end at the stable in Bethlehem as we host our live nativity.  Parishioners are always invited to spend time with our Lord in prayer and reflection in St. Mary’s Garden.
