The Knights of Columbus was founded on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Charitable services are provided to the Church and local community through the many Councils located throughout the world.

Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works.

The Fr. Vincent M. Mulvin Council #12287 operating from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church meets every second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. to pray the rosary followed by a Member Meeting.

The Women’s Altar Rosary Guild is open to all ladies of the parish.  The Guild’s primary mission is to further the spiritual welfare of its members, to assist with the needs of the parish, and to encourage a spirit of goodwill and friendship within the parish.

The Women's Altar Rosary Guild meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. during the school year.

Based on the teachings of Saint Paul (Romans 12:6-8 and Ephesians 4:11-12), we celebrate the charisms of the Holy Spirit which continue to exist and build up the Church.  Our Spanish Charismatic Prayer Group meets in the nave of the church every 2nd and 4th Fridays at 7:30 p.m.

Just as Christ taught all who came to Him, so too does the Church teach all who seek Christ.  The purpose of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is to gradually initiate individuals into the faith and life of Christ and the Catholic Church.

RCIA is for anyone--those with little background in Christianity, Protestants, Catholics, and all those seeking to join the Catholic Church. Please call the church office at 770-443-0566 or email: church@svdpatl.com

Adult Faith Enrichment classes are often available immediately following the Sunday 9:00 a.m. Holy Mass.  Faith topics might include Church History, Eucharistic Miracles, Hagiography, Morality, Our Jewish Roots, or other catechist led topics.

Each topic may have multiple sessions; but each session stands alone.  You do not have to attend the early sessions to understand later sessions.  Come when you can!  These classes are free; no registration required.

Other classes are offered periodically throughout the year. These sessions are usually book studies such as 33 Days to Morning Glory, Consoling the Heart of Jesus, or other such topics and may require purchase of materials.

Please contact the parish office to inquire about our current class and schedule.

Our Marian Movement of Priests Prayer Cenacle meets in the church nave every Tuesday immediately following the 12 noon Holy Mass.  If Holy Mass has been cancelled for the day, the group meets at 1:00 p.m.  Here, we gather to pray with our Blessed Mother in preparation for the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart.  For more information visit Marian Movement of Priests.
